I have almost twelve years broad, detailed experience as a consultant and contractor in the Information Technology industry, since October 1994:

• Six years experience as a Business Analyst, of which over three years experience with Business and System Requirements modeling with UML, RUP, Use Case analysis, and managing requirements with Rational RequisitePro. This also includes Use Case Diagraming, Sequence diagramming, Activity Diagraming, Business Object Modeling, State Chart modeling, data domain modeling, ER data modeling, and testing. I also have extensive experience with Rational Rose, Enterprise Architect [for UML], the Rational Unified Process.

• Six years experience as a senior technical author writing and developing user manuals and guides, quick reference guides, system administration manuals, training courseware and presenting training courses, and documenting business processes, developing hard-copy and online documents as either hard-copy books, HTML based document collections [of this is an example], or MS Help for Windows.

• I am currently undertaking a Masters of Science (MSc) in Financial Markets with Information Systems, through the London Metropolitan University, and completing my BCS/ISEB Business Analysis Diploma.

 

I am building this site as an information reference my own personal use but it can be used to judge the current state of my ongoing developing professional expertise.
